Litters/Litter Plans

We love producing amazing service, therapy and pet dogs. But holy man is it a lot of work. They are whelped in our living room and raised in our kitchen with thousands of hours of snuggling, exposure, training, feeding, cleaning... it's a lot.
For the cost of our puppies, we charge exactly what the cost was to produce the litter. You can see the receipts to see that we're not overcharging. Depending on the litter size and expenses, our puppies are usually between $1700-$2200 CAD.

Payment plans with a deposit are available for service dog candidate puppies.

Plans for the future

Our tentative plan for our next litter is to do a repeat breeding of Merry and Levi in either 2025 (if there is enough demand for service dog candidates) or 2026.

Available dogs

It is extremely rare that we have dogs or puppies available. However, we are very focused on making sure that each dog has the best possible fit with their new home, so every once in a while we will hang on to a puppy until the ideal home comes along.

Currently, Parker from the Remembering Vimy Ridge litter is available to a service dog home. He is extraordinarily good to train, received top marks in his service dog potential assessment, shows initial signs of intelligent disobedience and being attentive to a handler in distress, and has a steady temperament. He is calm, confident, and curious. If you think that you might be a good fit for this little guy, please contact us.

Forgotten Fallen of Vimy Ridge

LestWeForget Merry of Exiter "Merry" x Buffalo Creek's Levi's Promise at High Country "Levi"
Merry had 4 boys and 3 girls. They were all rough tri's.

This litter was born in the spring of 2024 and their registered names are all based on the under-represented individuals who fought at the battle of Vimy Ridge in World War One - but were not honoured or remembered due to their membership in marginalized groups such as gender, sexuality, or race.

There's a real heckin' gap here because of the COVID-19 pandemic and we tried to do artificial insemination a couple times and it didn't work (which means we lose a breeding season each time, because we don't want to accidentally have a bajillion puppies by breeding two females at once)
